The adventure of Will and Charlotte continues! Since the twins Will and Charlotte managed to free New York from the Night Fairy, the portal to the enchanting world of Fabula has been closed. But on a deep winter night, the ancient World Tree in Central Park awakens once more. A shadow creature emerges from the portal and steals Will's precious notebook. The chase leads the twins through the portal, and what they discover there deeply frightens them: black thorn vines are spreading in Fabula - the Night Fairy is back. While Charlotte immediately sets out to find the last dragons, the only creatures that can stand up to the fairy, Will tries to take on the fight against the shadow in his role as the storyteller.
