Well-known fashion magazines in Germany, along with their publishers and editorial teams, are examined in detail and compared to international developments. Backgrounds are uncovered with the help of long-forgotten original documents, and some legends are brought to light. In those decades when there was no internet, Wi-Fi, Instagram, and the like, designers, photographers, and fashion illustrators were still regarded as the true trendsetters of their respective fashion movements. Many of these creative personalities will be resurrected in this book.
