Eye watching

The publication provides an overview of the new acquisitions and donations to the North Rhine-Westphalia Art Collection, which were added under the leadership of Marion Ackermann as artistic director from 2009 to 2016. Not only were existing focal points such as the artist rooms and the Paul Klee collection strengthened, but obvious gaps, such as those concerning the female artists represented in the collection, were also addressed. The purchases made during this period are published for the first time in this volume, and Marion Ackermann's acquisition strategy is made accessible to the public.
