Extended Abstracts Fall 2015

The academic book "Extended Abstracts Fall 2015" is a comprehensive collection of extended conference abstracts derived from two significant workshops: the Biostatnet Workshop on Biomedical (Big) Data and the DoReMi LD-RadStats Workshop. These events took place in November and October 2015 in Barcelona, bringing together professionals from the fields of biostatistics, bioinformatics, and radiation research. The contributions in this volume are preliminary articles presenting new research findings that have not yet been published in regular academic journals. The first part of the book addresses the challenges of analyzing large biomedical datasets arising from technological advancements such as massive genomic sequencing and electronic health records.
