Seneca - as a philosophical life advisor and guide to the soul for a happy life is as relevant today as ever. The epistulae morales are part of the standard Latin reading curriculum. This selection of texts includes both central pieces from the epistulae morales (ep. 1, 16, 41, 47) and new aspects of high relevance (gym culture and body worship, vegetarian lifestyle, friendship, individuality and group dynamics, travel and tourism). Following the proven Explora concept, the booklet has clear thematic threads (Hellenistic philosophy with Stoicism and Epicureanism, Seneca as a guide to the soul and as a philosophical essayist, life goals and happiness).
