Based on these questions, Meike Eckstein examines the impulses of immediate drawing that bring the depicted to life. In self and external experiments, she confronts herself and the participants at specific locations with written and visual input to transform this into visual output. Can drawing ever be made comprehensible, or must the attempt inevitably fail? The result is a highly ambitious work that combines scientific-experimental research with philosophical reflections, thereby linking the tangible environment with the intangible aspects of the unconscious.
