Eva Gallizzi

The Swiss artist Eva Gallizzi (*1947) develops her work entirely in the medium of woodcut, focusing on craftsmanship. Her mostly representational subjects draw their expression from a direct dialogue with the material, rather than adhering to specific concepts. The bibliophile monograph takes the reader through her oeuvre spanning over 30 years, which also includes travel sketches and uniquely bound artist's books.
