Europa in 12 Lektionen

English has long established itself as a global lingua franca. However, can English change the way we write in other languages and express ideas? This book is a case study of the EU brochure 'Europe in 12 Lessons' and provides a longitudinal analysis of how the EU's communication and language policy has affected both the French and English versions. The study offers the reader a theoretical foundation by examining some of the key differences between French and English writing styles, using rhetorical analysis, political discourse, and translation theory as parameters.
