From 1 February 1867 to 30 June 1877 Eugen Huber was editor-in-chief of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. This volume is dedicated to this phase of his life. After an introduction to his work as a journalist, the previously scattered contributions are reproduced here together for the first time, so that the intellectual and professional career of Eugen Huber can be traced on the basis of his texts.
