Etwas über russische Filme

The chapters on the history of Russian cinema combine portraits of Russian film directors (Nikina Michalkow, Karen Shakhnazarov, Pyotr Todorovsky) with a detailed analysis of specific films from various times, themes, and genres. The book also addresses the issue of popular film culture: Why do many (though not all) texts in entertainment media achieve such great success with audiences? Perhaps because their authors are responsive to the real, respectful, and eager needs of the audience, primarily - the youth? A significant portion of the book is dedicated to the activities of the youth film club, including a description of the typology of students and the film perception of the pupils. The book is aimed at students of humanities faculties, teachers, university professors, and a broad audience interested in the past and present of Russian cinema.
