Étude de l'usinage de l'Inconel 800 à l'aide de l'électroérosion mixte par nanopoudre

Nickel-based superalloys have all of these characteristics and are also known as the most difficult materials to machine. The use of these alloys is challenging due to the conventional processes required for high temperatures and high-speed corrosion. This research focuses on studying the machinability performance of the Inconel 800 superalloy in the EDM and PMEDM machining environments. The ultimate objectives of this research are to improve the performance measures of the metal recovery rate (MRR), surface quality, and to reduce the wear of the Inconel 800 tool in EDM and PMEDM. The main objective of this research is to suggest the best process parameters, such as impulse travel time, impulse stop time, and pointing speed, using different electrodes such as copper and silver-coated copper electrodes with dielectric media like pure kerosene and kerosene enriched in servotherm through EDM experiments. In PMEDM, nanopowders are also used with a minimum size of 5 nm. Different nanopowders such as aluminum, silicon, and multi-particle carbon nanotubes are considered to improve the surface finish.
