The standard work in a new guise. At the core of each of the nine personality types of the Enneagram lies an essential quality that has been taken from us, weakened, or distorted throughout our development. These "deficiencies" are what we seek to heal and integrate within ourselves.

Each personality type of the Enneagram represents a specific attitude, a fixation. When we fight against them, we reinforce them, thus hiding or overshadowing our essence.

By embracing our essence with all its facets, we can understand the fixations and begin to free ourselves from their grip.
