Es ist okay, wütend auf den Kapitalismus zu sein

Unbridled capitalism is driving global inequality further and further, undermining our democracy and destroying our planet. For Bernie Sanders, the two-time U.S. presidential candidate, there is only one way out: We must finally put an end to the immoral system driven by unrestrained greed – and place human dignity at the center of all societal considerations.

How can we accept an economic system that makes the rich richer and the poor poorer? How can we accept a political system that allows the super-rich to buy elections and politicians? How can we accept an energy system that profits the corporations causing the climate crisis?

Bernie Sanders' thesis: Our anger at the status quo is justified; we must fundamentally question the systems that have failed. This is the first step toward a new future. Sanders' vision goes far beyond the promises of his past campaigns. We must recognize that economic rights are human rights and create a society that provides a decent standard of living for all. As Franklin D. Roosevelt once said: "Real individual freedom cannot exist without economic security and independence."
