After twelve years of secret druid training, the time has finally come. Atticus O'Sullivan can bind his apprentice Granuile to Earth. This way, the number of druids in the world would be doubled at one go. Unfortunately, at the height of the ritual, Atticus' cover is blown. After he can no longer hide, Atticus has no choice but to travel to the foot of Mount Olympus with his faithful wolfhound Oberon and Granuile. There, however, the Roman god Bacchus has vowed to take revenge on him. But he is not the only one. He has to queue up behind an old vampire and a horde of dark elves, for whom the assassination of Atticus is at the top of the priority list.
