Erweiterung von ERP-Systemen mit durch Webservices angebotenen Optimierungsverfahren
Jörg Courant, 2013Product details
A fundamental problem of ERP systems is the conflict between the offerings of standard software and the requirements of users. The ongoing approach of continually expanding the offerings and customizing them through parameterization is one of the reasons for the often-complained complexity. On the other hand, many ERP systems still have significant deficiencies in the areas of production planning and control, as well as overall logistics, regarding the application of sophisticated optimization methods. The core remains the MRP-II concept with material requirements planning based on various planning and forecasting methods and the subsequent production control, which offers several tools for visualization and rules for scheduling in fine planning. ERP systems would gain a whole new quality with optimization methods offered through web services. In the four bachelor's theses summarized in this document, such web services were designed, implemented, tested, and published.
