Product details

The two good friends Eugène and Matthias are only 16 years old when Germany declares war on France in August 1914. Since they are technically too young to serve as soldiers, they forge their papers and their mothers' signatures. The army, urgently seeking volunteers, recruits Eugène and Matthias without asking any further questions. Eager for adventure, the two friends secretly leave their village for the front. However, they quickly become separated in the bloody battles and experience what war truly means. Will the two ever see each other again?.
