The new educational series "Experience Nature and Technology" provides the ideal foundation for a competence-oriented science education at the lower secondary level. It is consistently aligned with the Curriculum 21 and fosters students' interest in scientific and technical questions. Additionally, it encourages independent research projects and integrates learning content from biology, physics, and chemistry into thematic units. The series is suitable for differentiated instruction in heterogeneous classes and includes a variety of tasks that address different learning levels, from basic to advanced to expert, enriched by digital teaching materials.

The structure of the educational series particularly considers the orientation point of the curriculum at the midpoint of the 3rd cycle. Accordingly, Student Book 1, along with the accompanying materials for teachers and digital teaching resources, covers the competencies and content prior to the orientation point (the first three semesters of lower secondary education). In the student book, practical, clearly marked modules, such as method pages and learning checks, address the full range of multifaceted competence and knowledge acquisition. At the beginning of each new chapter, action takes precedence: students engage with each area of knowledge through a memorable experience.
