The new experience offers a recurring structure:

Chapter introduction: Engaging images with guiding questions for the following chapter.

Subchapters: A consistent 4-page principle forms a learning unit. Base pages: Easily understandable texts and illustrations convey the learning content. Experience pages: Various modules provide additional tasks, experiments, and practical work related to the learning units, or connect to the students' real-life experiences. Chapter conclusion with self-assessment: 'At a glance' summarizes the essential contents of the chapter, and with the tasks in 'Show what you can do,' students can check their knowledge level.

Experience provides a permeable three-tier differentiation on all base and experience pages. This makes it clear who is doing which tasks. Base tasks: The tasks without distinction are designed for all students and are worked on together. They serve to build foundational competencies. Easy tasks: The 1-bar tasks are at the same level as the base tasks. They provide additional practice opportunities for weaker students to reinforce foundational competencies. Medium tasks: The 2-bar tasks are somewhat more difficult and demanding. Hard tasks: The 3-bar tasks have an even higher level of difficulty and are more complex. They cater to the needs of high-achieving students.

The task differentiation in Experience thus allows for permeability between different learning and performance levels. This way, you can optimally address the individual learning potentials of your class.

The imparting of interdisciplinary competencies, such as media education, is also integrated into Experience and is clearly marked.
