Product details
Recently, the media has frequently reported on alcohol excesses among teenagers and young adults. Striking individual cases, such as the death of a 16-year-old student from Berlin after heavy alcohol consumption, aim to bring these drinking habits into the public eye. However, the drinking behavior of a specific age-appropriate subpopulation, namely students, has received little attention in Germany so far. Numerous Anglo-American studies have demonstrated differences in the drinking behavior of college students compared to the general population; these differences are particularly evident in the phenomenon of binge drinking, which is widespread among student circles. Whether this trend is also evident in Germany was investigated among students at TU Braunschweig. The results clearly show different consumption patterns compared to the general population.
