While Volume 1 explains the core elements of cooperative learning and their integration into existing teaching, this second volume presents additional methods and learning arrangements that have proven to be effective and motivating in both learning research and teaching practice. Suggestions for idea and concept formation, as well as for judgment and argumentation, are considered here, along with support for independent and sustainable learning. Finally, the authors address the question of individual performance assessment within the framework of cooperative teaching and the possibilities of a cross-class interactive strategy.
