This self-help manual for people with obsessive-compulsive disorders shows those affected by the disorder how to avoid typical "thinking traps" (e.g. excessive assumption of responsibility, perfectionism) using numerous entertaining examples as well as proven and new treatment strategies. An extensive collection of material instructs those affected to first recognise and then "defuse" recurrent thinking traps. All materials have been created for self-help, but are also suitable as a valuable supplement for use by therapists.
