Meine Liebe aus Paris

After graduating from high school, the adventurous Gerda Müller works for a year as an au pair in Paris to experience something different from her small town. There, she falls in love with a Frenchman and decides to move to France. The novel recounts the experiences Gerda Müller gathers in France and the problems that arise when the relationship falls apart. Set at the end of the twentieth century, the novel addresses the changes brought about by the unification of Europe and the rapid developments of the last century.
