The graphic overviews of the epochs at the end of each chapter are ideal for exam preparation of all kinds. Historical instruments, works of the century and great artists come to life in the classroom: from medieval musicianship to Daniel Barenboim's interpretation of Beethoven and John Cage's prepared piano.
