It is evident that coordination chemistry has significant applications in the emerging trends of inorganic chemistry research. In particular, the chemistry of Schiff bases and their metal complexes has fascinated and inspired chemists worldwide. Transition metal complexes with various types of ligands have gained importance in numerous application areas, especially in the field of inorganic chemistry research. Due to their stability under a variety of oxidative and reductive conditions, Schiff base ligands have played a key role as chelating ligands. Schiff bases are versatile organic compounds that are widely used and synthesized through the condensation reaction of various amine compounds with aldehydes or ketones, known as imines. Schiff base ligands are considered privileged ligands because they can be easily synthesized through condensation. The complexation ability of Schiff bases, also referred to as imines (C=N), is well documented by several authors.
