Product details
The European Accident Report (EU Accident Report) is a standardized and paper-based form for recording damages in traffic accidents. Its purpose is to assist those involved in an accident in documenting the incident. However, as a paper-based form, it does not represent an optimal solution. For example, the EU Accident Report has a very limited writing area, which requires handwriting to be adjusted, making the form difficult to read later on. In this work, we propose a software-based approach for the EU Accident Report. In the first step, we conduct an analysis of existing software clients and then create a concept for new clients. In the second step, we implement a smartphone client for those involved in the accident, as well as a tablet client for the police.
