Cornelsen English Grammar is suitable for use in class starting from grade 7 as well as for home study. The Cornelsen English Grammar is aimed at students from grade 9 up to the Abitur and beyond.

There are two editions: a bilingual version with German rule formulations and a monolingual version with English rule formulations.

The simple language of the examples, the clear identification of central grammatical phenomena, the contrastive approach, and the numerous additional information make it an ideal reference and practice grammar for advanced learners - for school or home use.

The examples come from the learners' everyday life and reflect contemporary language usage. Many examples are translated into German. Deviant and error-prone language use is clearly marked.
