Engelsschlaf. Thriller

The night is cold in Berlin. A young woman lies on a park bench, lovingly nestled on a pillow. She is no longer breathing. But just as the police and doctors are about to issue the death certificate, she suddenly awakens. Everyone is relieved, but investigator Laura Kern suspects: the kidnapper will strike again. And she is right. One victim can only be recovered dead. The situation escalates, as another woman goes missing. Only much too late does Laura realize that she has overlooked a tiny detail – and that she is facing a perpetrator who believes he can conquer death.
