Engadinerinnen

The stories of the 18 women portrayed by Angelika Overath are very different, but they have one thing in common: a love of the Engadin, where they all live, some of whom have moved here, while others have never left their home village.
From the 25-year-old student to the 83-year-old journalist, a broad spectrum of lifestyles is shown, all of which are unique. They form a panorama of the female part of the Engadin population and for once do not show famous people who have achieved extraordinary things, but those whose work contributes to everyday life in the Engadin: a kindergarten teacher, a hut warden, a farmer's wife or a cleaner, for example.
