This manual teaches the necessary EMC measures - from the planning phase to completion and CE marking, from the device to the large-scale fixed installation. The focus of the book is on the consideration of technical and legal requirements and their economic implementation to ensure EMC. It is intended as a practice-oriented aid in daily work, taking into account the current status of standardisation. The basics of EMC are dealt with as an introduction. This is followed by basic EMC measures such as earthing, grounding, equipotential bonding, filtering, shielding and cabling. With EMC planning, a methodology for ensuring EMC is presented. In particular, EMC measures in buildings and installations are shown. The transition to legislation and standardisation for CE marking is represented by the normative requirements for equipment.
