Employees with groups

When working with groups, one must first understand what happens within a group, which I refer to as group dynamics. Secondly, one needs to know how to structure a program with a group or what the methodology of working with a group is. Thirdly, one must be aware of the specific qualities and skills that a group worker must possess. Of course, the group worker should also have good communication skills. I would like to refer to my manual on verbal and non-verbal communication for this purpose. In this manual, I attempt to explain all these points and provide an example of a training program for social workers in the Netherlands. Additionally, you will find models for evaluation and examples of exercises that you can conduct yourself. This manual is intended for anyone who wants to work professionally with groups.
