Detective Commissioner Müller is at his peak one last time.

Basel in sub-zero temperatures. A frozen corpse lies on the Dorenbach promenade. How did the fallen ex-banker, who was clearly beaten, end up there? Detective Commissioner Müller and his team are faced with a mystery. Shortly thereafter, a colleague is found injured at the market hall, prompting Müller to call for reinforcements: Manfred Bucher, his police friend from earlier days. Together, they pick up the threads of the investigation and uncover entanglements that they find very unsettling.
