Power and murder, family and friendship, rise and fall: A girl goes missing, and her body is found months later at a bridge over the Rhine. The murder shakes an entire region. More and less, an heir investigator and a commissioner, along with an unconventional duo, feverishly try to uncover who ambushed the girl on her way home. However, a regional politician lays false trails that lead into high circles of politics in the state parliament. Nothing that seems like coincidence is actually coincidence. In the end, the murderer is caught - but is he really the culprit?.
