In her wonderful stories, poems, and songs, which always come in the finest Kölsch, Elfi Steickmann skillfully weaves together humor, melancholy, and wisdom. The result is yet another collection of texts that holds up a mirror to the reader, prompts reflection, and provides excellent entertainment.

She writes about how 'wishes change' and about 'little snowflakes in the air'. She searches for 'a password for life', finds that 'technology has something mystical', and knows that 'you can really mess things up'.
