January 11, 2017: During the opening celebrations, a skydiver falls to his death from the roof of the Elbphilharmonie. The body of a civil engineer recovered from the Elbe, along with the sudden disappearance of four construction workers, prompts private detective Carsten-Oliver Lutteroth to intervene in the hesitant investigations of the murder squad.
