Fire department leaders acquire their basic tactical knowledge at state fire schools. This knowledge is further deepened through drills and operations. However, many firefighters lack practical experience, making 'learning by doing' often fail due to the number of incidents. This book aims to spark interest in tactics. It seeks to lower the barrier for discussing tactical variations and encourages the reader to search for possible solutions in tricky situations, much like solving a puzzle. By tinkering, either alone or in a group, the tactical thought process should be trained and continuously deepened. This is intended to make the structures of the thought process more prominent and help facilitate quick and goal-oriented decisions in operational situations.
