The right of the police to intervene is the right of the police to take measures that may interfere with fundamental rights; it is - in accordance with the fundamental rights functions of defence, protection and participation - not only the right to intervene, but also the right to preserve and enable. The law of intervention of the police is a special discipline with a higher complexity of legal sources and sources of legal knowledge on rights and legal goods from several areas of law, which more than others require a more comprehensive (legal) order and a more structured (legal) system. This work deals with essential concepts, forms, contents of the law of intervention of the police (NRW), thus containing in particular: - basic law and legal principles relevant to the police, - basic law relevant to the police (constitutional law, constitutional law, basic rights), - police and regulatory law of the police (NRW), - formal criminal law and regulatory offence law of the police, and for all legal practitioners from and for "theory, training, practice". All sections are up-to-date and comprehensive, with many original sources and original texts. All sections (e.g. individual measures) can be read independently or crosswise and side by side, in particular - as a kind of companion, checklist, compendium for study, training, service practice, - as a kind of lexicon regarding terms, technical language, keywords (arguments, topoi and vocabulary of intervention law), - as a kind of reference work regarding forms, contents, sources. The work provides clear and relevant information: - terms and (legal) definitions, - subsumption formulations and other formulations (arguments, topoi and vocabulary of intervention law), - case studies and sources (sources of law, sources of case law, sources of literature), - further subject indexes and overviews.
