The Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training has developed training documents for working on CNC machine tools together with the training practice. These documents are not tailored to specific machine makes. The training documents consist of the exercise series "Introduction to CNC technology". The first volume of this "Introduction to CNC Technology" comprises 10 exercises that cover the basics of CNC turning and CNC milling together. These are exercises that do not simply bring theory, but in which learning the knowledge necessary for working on CNC machines is closely linked to practical action. Volume 2 deals with CNC turning in more advanced exercises, while Volume 3 is dedicated to more advanced practice in CNC milling. The respective volumes are accompanied by corresponding documents for the trainer.
