Einfluss der Sparquote auf das Wirtschaftswachstum

The general aim of this analysis is to examine the effects of a higher savings rate on economic growth in Burkina Faso. In other words, the study seeks to investigate the nature of the relationship between the savings rate and the growth rate. Specifically, it focuses on the relationship between saving and investing to ensure the accumulation of capital as a source of national wealth, as well as the relationship between the investment rate and the growth rate. A study on the impact of the savings rate on economic growth in Burkina Faso proves to be an undeniable contribution to the debate on whether developing countries need to increase their savings rate to support wealth and thus lift themselves out of the underdevelopment trap. In light of the implementation of the guidelines of the SCADD and the Stability, Growth, and Solidarity Pact of the EAWU, the conclusions of this study could challenge policymakers to realign economic policy.
