This volume supports you in conveying and reinforcing basic geometric concepts through a motivating read-aloud and picture story. A small guiding character weaves through the story and materials like a common thread, emotionally engaging children who struggle to connect with mathematics and abstract shapes.

The graphics and story are intentionally designed to be straightforward, with the complexity gradually increasing from page to page. The presentation of the picture story can be done digitally (e.g., on a whiteboard/tablet), in the form of a stapled picture book, or through a Kamishibai. In line with the story, the volume offers highly differentiated teaching materials that can help reinforce the content. Additionally, it includes further ideas for interdisciplinary work on the topic of shapes, as well as suggestions for using the materials with children with complex disabilities.
