The decision to live in a bus is made spontaneously on a winter evening in 2016. That same evening, the journalist and the filmmaker write their notice to terminate their apartment lease. Since then, they have made their home wherever their bus is parked. "Simply Living" is a love letter to the life of a nomad. And it's a play on words. Because this book is also a love letter to life in general. It tells of the changes that occurred in their minds when they moved into a bus, as well as travel experiences and encounters from around the world. It narrates a personal journey to happiness that inspires living one's dreams in the here and now. Because at some point, "someday" can be too late.
