This book focuses on the economic analysis of milk production and livestock farming in the Tirupattur district of Tamil Nadu. Primary data was collected in January 2022 from 50 respondents using an interview schedule. Of the total sample, 62 percent of the respondents were male and 38 percent were female. The study has shown that young people in the village are more involved in milk production and livestock farming than older individuals, and that those with a primary school education are the most engaged in these activities. Respondents from private organizations are more involved in livestock and milk production, with each respondent earning more than 10,000 Rs per month from milk production. The majority of respondents earned more than 10,000 Rs per month from livestock farming. Both livestock farming and milk production provided respondents with a reasonable income without incurring losses. Approximately 90 percent of the respondents invest the profits they earn from livestock farming and milk production into assets.
