Eine Scheidung wider Willen
German, 2015, Angelika FleckensteinProduct details
Christine Martens is divorced against her will, as the separation from Andreas was supposed to be just a break in their relationship. She tries to prevent the divorce, but Andreas refuses: he has a new girlfriend and plans for the future. Disappointed, she faces the challenge of raising her two children on her own. Fortunately, Christine has her best friend Olivia, who is always there to advise her in difficult situations. The exciting life with her two mischievous boys, a part-time job, and constant financial worries is not easy for the young mother. And life feels particularly dull without love, she thinks. An erotic encounter with a very good friend leaves her with a slightly bitter aftertaste. She falls in love with her physiotherapist Rainer and believes that after a date together, she is close to fulfilling her desires. However, Rainer does not return her feelings. A short vacation with her children Tim and Tobias brings not only the hoped-for relaxation. The kids hire 'friends' for their mom. The only acceptable choice: Arnold Becker from Leverkusen. He is just to Christine's liking, and she meets him again after the vacation. They have a nice evening together. However, a night alone together turns into a small disaster, from which Christine flees. Meanwhile, she cannot escape occasional conflicts with her ex-husband. On one hand, they are bound by their responsibilities as parents, and on the other, by financial matters, especially when she loses her job. When Tim starts school, Andreas shows a surprisingly different side. He is not only interested in his children.
