Product details
This dissertation aims to answer the following research question: 'How can the project management of inter-organisational R&D projects be designed in a project culture-conscious way? ' To this end, the project culture-conscious management method CLIPS is developed on the basis of theoretical foundations from the literature and findings from workshops with experts. The acronym CLIPS stands for 'Cultural Links for Interorganisational Project Success'. The CLIPS method is evaluated in a three-stage iterative process with experts, further developed and refined on the basis of these findings and then put into practice in an interorganisational R&D project. As its acronym suggests, the CLIPS method can be 'clipped on' to existing standard project management approaches, i.e. integrated into them. The CLIPS method addresses the all-important relationship level in inter-organisational R&D project management and thus shapes the project culture. This closes a hitherto existing gap in research on inter-organisational R&D project management.
