Maximilian Hartmuth researches the architectural history of Central and Southeastern Europe at the Institute of Art History at the University of Vienna, where he led an ERC project on Habsburg-era Bosnia from 2018 to 2023. Caroline Jäger-Klein is an associate professor of architectural history in the Department of Building History and Building Research at the Technical University of Vienna. Since 2018, she has also been the president of ICOMOS Austria.
