Searching for meaning, places, and the internet. "With your lungs, you’d be better off living by the sea or in the mountains." These are the words with which Oli's doctor discharges him from the hospital after his third lung surgery. Reaching this low point, he makes the radical decision to leave his old life behind. He gives up his apartment and moves into a camper van – for an indefinite period of time.

From that moment on, he travels as a full-time van lifer and freelance copywriter across Europe. Between freezing -30 °C and scorching heat, he experiences freedom and solitude, love and northern lights, wild storks and drooling Rottweilers.
