Ein Wochenende

The lives of the four friends could hardly have been more different, yet they remain loyal to each other over the decades: Jude, the cultured gastronomist whose affair with the married Daniel has lasted almost as long as their friendship; Adele, once a celebrated actress who has just been left by her partner; Wendy, the feminist intellectual who finds understanding her own children more challenging than writing complex books; and finally, the warm-hearted, caring Sylvie, the glue of the group. When Sylvie dies, the three others realize they must redefine what holds them together without their friend. During a weekend at Sylvie's old beach house, too much wine and uninvited guests bring to light a well-kept secret that puts their long-standing friendship to the test.
