In 1715 in Hohenlohe: A mineral spring is discovered near the small hamlet of Hesselbronn. Every year, thousands of sick people come, having to wait in line for hours to finally drink the healing water. Spa guests stay in Kupferzell for weeks to enjoy a therapeutic bathing cure here. They experience relief from pain, even leading to fantastic miraculous healings. Did all of this really happen 300 years ago? The author has pursued this question. In his research, he made astonishing discoveries. The result is an exciting book that presents the history of Kupferzell in a completely new light. The establishment of the 'Lamm' inn in Hesselbronn (1721), the reconstruction of the 'Zur Traube' guesthouse (1721), and the construction of the stately castle in Kupferzell (1721 to 1727), as well as the establishment of a bathhouse in Goggenbach (1722), are all seen in connection with the marketing of this healing water.
