Ex-police officer Fallner would prefer to leave his brother's security company – and ends up in the labyrinth of German problems. Together with his Jewish partner Landmann, he is supposed to track down an Islamist assassin who has a bounty of two million on his head. The suspect is allegedly hiding in Munich. Yet it is not even clear who the tip-off actually comes from. Could it be that the private security firm is being used? Perhaps by far-right networks within state security agencies? If so, why? Fortunately, Fallner has excellent police contacts: his wife Jaqueline, a chief inspector. However, she would rather focus on the fourteen-year-old girl from a broken German family who has sought asylum with them. She bombards Father Fallner with a thousand questions per minute, and he even has to go to church with her. You shall not kill, says the good Lord. But two million for a lousy killer means a special case. Dobler writes crime novels like no one else in Germany.
