The book makes it clear that steering conversations about Eros can significantly contribute to combating social injustices such as sexual violence, which thrive in an environment of muted voices. By naming and criticizing the negative portrayal of human sexuality hidden in taboos, culture, and patriarchal ideologies, the author demonstrates that human sexuality is not a non-topic.
