Sweden, Christmas 2020: The renowned artist Ludvig Rute invites his three siblings and their partners to a remote estate near a forest for the holidays, despite the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although they do not know what to expect, they have traveled from far away. They haven't seen each other in many years, and the atmosphere is tense.
